Custom Volleyball Uniform Design Guide
Everything you need to know to create a great custom volleyball uniform design — file formats, color systems, design process, and tips from our team.
The Design Process
Request a Quote
Submit your order details through our quote form. Include your team colors, any design ideas, and your existing logo files if available.
Design Consultation
Our design team reaches out within 1–2 hours to discuss your vision, gather any missing files, and understand your timeline.
Mockup Creation
We create a detailed digital mockup showing your design on realistic jersey templates. Front, back, and side views are available.
Review & Revise
You review the mockup and request any changes. We revise until every detail is exactly right — with no limit on revision rounds.
Design Approval
Once you approve the final design, we send a production sign-off form. No changes can be made after this point.
Production Begins
After sign-off, your order enters production. Standard turnaround is 10–14 business days from approval date.
Logo & Artwork File Requirements
| Format | Type | Quality | Best For |
|---|---|---|---|
| .AI | Vector | ★★★★★ | Logos, complex artwork |
| .EPS | Vector | ★★★★★ | Logos, multi-color designs |
| .SVG | Vector | ★★★★★ | Web logos, icons |
| .PDF (vector) | Vector | ★★★★★ | Any artwork from Illustrator |
| .PNG | Raster | ★★★★☆ | Logos at 300+ DPI, transparent background |
| .JPG | Raster | ★★★☆☆ | Reference images only — not recommended for logos |
If you only have low-resolution files, share them anyway — our design team can recreate or improve them as part of the process.
Color Specifications
Pantone (PMS)
The most accurate color specification system. If your school or club has official Pantone colors, share the PMS codes for exact color matching.
Hex / RGB
Common for digital color references. Provide your hex codes (e.g., #0f1340) or RGB values and we will convert to the closest sublimation match.
Reference Images
If you do not have formal color specs, share photos of existing jerseys, uniforms, or other branded materials and we will match as closely as possible.
Design Tips from Our Team
Limit your design to 2–3 main colors for the cleanest, most professional look.
Keep player name and number fonts simple and legible from across the court.
High-contrast color combinations (dark base + light text) read best in arena lighting.
Avoid very thin lines (under 1pt) as they can blur during sublimation printing.
Gradient effects are fully supported and can create depth in your design.
Test your design colors in both bright and dim lighting if possible before approval.
